Space Needed
The minimum ceiling height recommended for bungee fitness is 8-feet. The sets are intended for rigging points 9-12 feet tall.
Each set will need a minimum of an 8-foot radius to avoid collisions and we recommend staggering where possible.
Consider putting a sticker or marking
on the floor to help each student
center themselves when using the bungee.

Safety
Bungee Sets must be installed by a professional rigger for student safety. We recommend a regular safety inspection and safety plan, including visual and tactile inspection, to identify any damage and prevent issues.
The gold standard is to find someone experienced in aerial rigging, such as a professional rigger or structural engineer to help with the installation.

These sets are intended for ground based bungee fitness classes, and this product is not suitable for bungee jumping, full suspension, or for use as a swing.
Our Bungee Fitness Sets
Weight Ratings and Size Offerings
Bungees must be used at the recommended weight limits. The size refers to how much elastic is in the bungee cord itself, which provides more or less resistance depending on size.
The Small and Medium Bungee Sets come with the same size S/M harnesses. All harnesses are rated to hold users up to 300lbs. The Large bungee comes with the Large Harnesses which can fit larger students.
We can substitute harness sizes upon request.
Consider getting a few Extra Bungee Cords for additional bounce and resistance with the smaller sizes, as well as options to have on hand for different student demographics. We also sell Harnesses separately if needed.

Care and Maintenance
All hardware should be inspected before each use. Ensure carabiners are locked, harnesses are tight, and perform a tactile inspection on the bungee cords. The bungee is made up of several elastic cords; if one is broken inside, that bungee should not be used. In a studio or gym setting, we suggest replacing the bungees every 2 years, around 40,000 jumps, or when first signs of damage is noted. Harnesses can be hand washed with warm water and mild soap with a sponge. Do not soak the harness, air dry only. Other equipment may be wiped clean.

We have four sizes available depending on user weight (always go with the larger size if you're not sure which is best, or size up if you are practicing more acrobatic movements):
- Small: suitable for the following users' weights: 80-120 pounds or 36-54 kg
- Medium: suitable for the following users' weights: 115-140 pounds or 52-64 kg
- Large: suitable for the following users' weights: 135-200 pounds or 61-91 kg
- X-Large: suitable for the following users' weights: 200-300 pounds or 90-135 kg
- Waist Size: 58—124cm
- Thigh Size: 50—90cm
Large Harness (fits most women up to US pants size 20)
- Waist Size: 54—142cm
- Thigh Size: 30—90cm

For bungee longevity and user safety, we recommend avoiding slippery nylon or synthetic clothes when possible to further reduce friction (cotton sweatpants or other non slippery fibers are best). Ensure that the bungee hangs at belly-button height for adequate resistance. The user should be able to stand flat-footed when hooked into the bungee, but still feel tension in the cord.

It also includes a Swivel so that you can hop and spin. Extension Straps (daisy chains and slings) can be used to mount at varying heights. The set comes with everything you need to get started, just note that overhead mounting options are sold separately as needs may vary.
The Ceiling Mount Hook can be used for ceilings 12 feet and under; this equipment must be professionally installed and are intended for ground-based bungee fitness classes only; these are not suitable for aerial arts, acrobatics, or circus classes.
