Take flight with our fully height-adjustable, portable aerial rig - the perfect solution to practice aerial arts anywhere. This is a multi-use rig suitable for all of your aerial needs, aerial fitness, aerial yoga, static trapeze, aerial hoop, Aerial silks, Lyra, boxing, or pull-up training.
This rig is an A-Frame style, made of stainless steel and magnesium alloy. It’s strong and sturdy yet light enough to travel, making it the most portable aerial rig available. It is completely height-adjustable, extending from 5ft (152cm) up to 11ft (335cm) in 3-5 inch increments, allowing you to fit it in short ceilings indoors and expand to maximum height outdoors.
To attach your silks, trapeze, hammock, hoop, or Lyra, simply attach your gear directly to one of the two included top bar connectors on the aerial rig. These connectors are not found on cheaper rigs on the market. They make the most of limited heights and can be moved so that you can use the A-frame for multiple disciplines.

At the lowest height, it will require a floor area of 4.4 sqm, and when fully extended, it will require an area of 8.9 sqm. Please see the footprint photo for the floor space required at each setting above 8 feet. If setting the rig below 8 feet, allow at least 60 by 80 inches of floor space.
We do not recommend drops or doubles (multiple users at the same time) on this frame. It is not intended to be used as a swing set. Swinging forces on an aerial apparatus may cause a collision with the rig legs or cause the rig to move.
Aerial rigs are built to absorb shock loads, and the legs will move under your weight. This movement is expected. The feet of the rig should stay stationary, and the legs should return to the normal position when not in use. This product is rated and weight tested to failure by an independent engineering firm in Atlanta, GA, for aerial safety.

Yes! All our products are independently tested and rated for aerial use. Our height-adjustable rig is tested by professional riggers at an independent engineering firm. The minimum breaking strength of the rig is 1550 lbs, at which point a leg bends irreparably. When you buy a rig from us, you are buying a tried and true, tested design. All ratings are taken from the weakest possible configuration (a single point load from the center of the top bar on the tallest setting). This rig has a 10:1 safety factor for aerial use at a 155lb user weight and a 5:1 safety factor at a 310lb user weight. We recommend a maximum user weight load of 155 lbs for dynamic tricks and 310 lbs for aerial yoga and conditioning (drops and doubles are not recommended). The portable aerial rig is made of stainless steel and aluminum, so it’s strong and durable for many years of use. That being said, we do not recommend drops, doubles, or swinging like a swing set on the rig. The rig is meant to absorb shock loads and is a fantastic tool to condition and train when used correctly, as advised.
Yes! Our aerial rigs can be used both indoors and outdoors.
I've worked with several types of rigs... many much bigger and more cumbersome... and not able to use in smaller venues... but this rig is the most impressive rig I've worked with!!!! It enables us to perform in more spaces and is soooooooo beautifully designed that we can set up, perform and break down quickly and inconspicuously!! Even the packaging it arrived in blew me away!!!!!! WELL DONE UPLIFT!!!! P.S. I LOVVVVVVVVVE THE AERIAL NET I BROUGHT TOO!!!!!!!!!!
Hello Kimberly, Thanks so much for your feedback! So happy you are enjoying your Aerial Rig and Net! Happy Flying Elieha with Uplift Active
This rig is very sturdy- heavy but easily portable. I have it set up indoors and it works perfectly for home practice. Thank you!
Hello Brittany, Thanks so much for your feedback! We are happy you are pleased with your aerial rig:) Happy Flying! Uplift Active Team
I enjoy the rig. It likely won’t hold up to moisture very well, so I rearrange my furniture for inside use. It is very very wobbly and that adds a level of nervousness when using with my higher practice or with students. Over all, I like it for the price.
Hello Chaya, Thanks so much for your feedback! You can use our Aerial Rigs outside but the best practice is to take them down when not in use. Although they are made of stainless steel, they are not intended to be left outside long term and will weather or rust with repeated exposure to moisture. If you need to keep it outside longer, there are metal protectant sprays (like Sta-Bil Rust Stopper) that may prevent weathering, and some customers keep a tarp over it when not in use to protect against morning dew. We recommend avoiding rain and moisture to prevent damage. Every climate is different and more humid/wet climates are more prone to weathering. Parts may rust over time, and we sell replacement parts if needed. The warranty does not cover damage from outside use, and regular inspection of the equipment is especially important if you plan to use it outdoors. Aerial rigs are built to absorb shock loads, and the legs of our rig are designed to be a bit flexible to absorb shock. This means they will move under your weight. This movement is expected, but the feet of the rig should stay stationary. It may take a bit of getting used to if you're new to using an aerial rig like this. The legs should return to the normal position when not in use. This aerial rig design is made with portability in mind; the flexibility of the legs gives it a higher weight capacity despite its small size. it collapses to a small size relative to other aerial rigs on the market and is able to fit in the back of a car. If the movement during use is excessive, it could mean that the legs are not positioned properly. Widening or narrowing the feet can reduce movement during use, and adjusting the stabilizing straps higher can help when the rig is set at the max height. Ensure that you're using a swivel if spinning on the aerial rig, and Sandbags (https://upliftactive.com/collections/aerial-rigs/products/aerial-sandbags-set-of-4) can help a bit as well. If the legs do not return to their normal position when not in use (ie, the legs are permanently bent), this means the rig has been overloaded and should not be used. We've only observed this in our product testing and have never had a report of this happening to a customer, but it's something to be aware of and to inspect before use. This product has rated and weight-tested to failure by an independent engineering firm in Atlanta, GA for aerial safety. Let us know if you have any questions!:) Happy Flying! Set up was easy and instructions were thorough. However one of the top bar connector loops won’t fully tighten and moves too much to be usable. I was concerned about stripping the hex screw or causing any damage by over tightening. The other top bar connector tightened with no problem so I’ve only been able to use it as single point. Still a great investment though.
Hello Corinne, Thank you for your feedback! It sounds like there may be a manufacturer defect with one of your connector loops, so sorry about that! If you could please email us about this issue so we can forward to the manufacturer to have them send a replacement asap!:) Kind Regards, Uplift Active Team
I've been using this rig for 2 months and I love it! This is my first rig and it's a little heavier than I expected but very sturdy. It takes a while to put it up by myself but it is manageable.
