Installation Instructions
Required Ceiling Height for Bungee Fitness
The minimum ceiling height recommended for bungee fitness is 9 feet. The ideal ceiling height is 10-12 feet tall, or 3-3.7 meters. When hanging, the bungee should hang at about belly-button height. Students should be able to stand flat-footed when clipped into the bungee, but the cord should be taught and providing support. You may use a small step stool to clip into your bungee more easily.
Very short users may be able to enjoy bungee in shorter ceiling heights, but average-sized adults and taller require 9-foot+ ceilings.
If you have ceilings over 4 meters, we have longer daisy chains available separately to extend the length. Please note that the equipment included works in ceiling heights up to 12 feet tall. Taller ceilings may need an additional extra-long daisy chain available here or other rigging options to make up for the height.
The included Extension Straps (daisy chains and slings) can be used to mount to an exposed structural beam or weight-bearing piping; professional installation is recommended. The Ceiling Mount Hook can be used for ceilings 12 feet and under; this equipment is recommended to be professionally installed. Bungee fitness can be practiced on our Height Adjustable Aerial Rig, but running jumps are not recommended, and students should stay within the footprint of the rig.
Required Floor Space for Bungee Fitness
Bungee fitness requires floor space to move and jump with ease. We recommend a minimum of 10 square feet of floor space to enjoy all the fun bungee has to offer. Multiple bungee setups can be placed closer together (6-8 feet apart minimum), as students can move in unison, but ensure at least 10 feet of clearance between students and the front of the room.
Additional Bungee Cords are available on their own in the Product Type dropdown as "Extra Bungee Cord" if you would like extra bounce!
Required Rigging for Bungee Fitness
Bungee fitness requires an overhead load-bearing beam for installation. We recommend consulting a structural engineer, professional rigger, or contractor with framing experience to install. Bungee generates lower forces than other types of aerial fitness, but it still requires a strong overhead mounting point. This point should be 10 times stronger than your expected weight load. For students up to 200 lbs, your overhead mounting point should hold 2,000+ lbs. For students up to 300 lbs, your overhead mounting point should hold 3,000+ lbs. The equipment should be inspected on a regular basis and installed professionally.

I bought the 200-300 lb bungee and ordered another strap just to be on the safe side. It came with a few directions but wasn't really clear so I more or less had to figure it out myself. Also, the harness needs to be better designed. The only way I could figure out how to get in was to step into it and for someone weighing 200-300 lbs would be impossible. I weigh 175 and tried it out myself with both straps plus the extra strap so It had 3 straps on it and I'm not sure if a 200-300 lb person could use this bungee. It worked great for me but I'm 25 lbs from 200 so someone heavier would be to low. It's not stout enough. I'm going to try it out for myself more and if it continues to stand up I will order some more but will have to get an extra strap for it as well.
Thanks so much for your feedback! Our team is available via email and chat to help with the bungee setup if needed. You do need to get into the harness by stepping into, which is normal for harnesses. We have video tuturial for putting on the harness here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sGm6q78KlxI&t=45s
People hold their weight and height different than others, and some users may prefer to use an extra bungee cord for more resistance. Some users may need to use a stepping stool.
Please enure than when the bungee cord clips into the harness, that it clips in at the lower back/belly button height while the user is standing flat footed. Any lower won't provide proper resistance, while higher than this may cuase too much resistance and make the harness uncomforable.

The instructions were not very clear on how to set it up. I found a youtube video online of another brand that showed how to connect everything(I have done rigging in theatre). Then after I got it set up I had trouble fitting the harness properly to my body. I wasn't sure if I was putting the thigh straps in the right place or the position of the waist part. I assumed it went over my hips. Also it would be really nice to have instructions for people who are of very much beginner and not exactly 20. I'm 61 and fairly fit but I do have injuries from life and have to be careful about further injuries. I had to figure out my own modifications for movements. All that being said, I really enjoy it. I plan to continue using this as part of my overall fitness program.
