Aerial Yoga is spreading across the world, as studios and gyms seek out new and fun ways to attract and keep clientele. While many fitness facilities have existing insurance coverage to protect both their business and customers, some may not realize that Aerial Yoga often requires special insurance.

Suspended activities bring additional risks to a facility. As safe as instructors may try to be, there is always the risk of a student not listening and falling on their heads. Students can collide when swinging, or twist an ankle coming out of the hammock. Serious injuries from aerial yoga are very rare, but accidents can happen and businesses must be prepared.

Check with your existing provider to see if they cover suspended fitness activities, such as TRX and Aerial Yoga. If not, you may need to look into alternate options such as the providers listed below. Insurance can get you covered for possible injury, property damage, and other risks.
